JAKARTA - Menteri Pemuda & Olahraga (Menpora) masa bhakti periode 2019-2024, Zainudin Amali, telah melakukan acara serah terima jabatan (Sertijab) Di Auditorium Wisma Kemenpora, pada Kamis (24/10/2019). Zainudin menerima jabatan barunya dari Hanif Dhakiri selaku Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Menpora RI pada periode sebelumnya.
Pada sambutannya, Zainudin mengatakan siap melaksanakan tugasnya sebagai Menpora untuk lima tahun ke depan. Meski latar belakang yang minim di dunia olahraga, tetapi ia memiliki motivasi besar untuk memperbaiki tata kelola organisasi dan anggaran dilingkungan Kemenpora.
Sejak dilantik dalam kabinet Indonesia Maju pada Rabu 23 Oktober 2019, Zainudin baru melaksanakan kegiatan sertijab pada hari ini. Pada acara sertijab tersebut para pejabat menpora periode sebelumnya pun ikut hadir. seperti Agung Laksono, Adhyaksa Dault, dan Roy Suryo.
"Banyak yang bertanya kepada saya (soal tugas sebagai Menpora). Jangankan Bapak Ibu, saya juga bertanya pada diri sendiri. Tapi saya punya keyakinan, apa pun yang kita kerjakan bersama, insya Allah berhasil. Menpora tidak bisa kerja sendiri," imbuh Zainudin.
