Pengukuhan & Pelantikan Pengurus Provinsi PTMSI Sumatera Selatan - 12 Oktober 2019
PALEMBANG – Pada Sabtu (12/10) di Hotel Swarna Dwipa telah berlangsung pengukuhan dan pelantikan Pengurus Provinsi PTMSI Sumsel periode 2019-2023 yang dihadiri langsung oleh Ketua PB PTMSI, Peter Layardi Lay yang melantik M Aliandra Pati Gantada SH Mhum sebagai ketua umum pengprov Sumsel PTMSI.
Ketua umum pada acara ini menyampaikan “Saya melihat Pengurus yang terbentuk adalah orang yang sudah mengerti dan punya niat untuk membina tenis meja Sumsel kedepan. PB berjuang, Daerah juga berjuang kedepan,” ujarnya.
Tenis Meja yang rencananya akan dipertandingkan diluar Papua pada PON XX tahun 2020 mendatang. Untuk itu, Peter berharap Pengprov Sumsel bisa lebih maksimal mempersiapkan atletnya. Termasuk juga mengenai adanya kemungkinan Sumsel menjadi tuan rumah.
Sementara itu, Gubernur Herman Deru dalam sambutannya sangat berterimakasih atas kerja keras kepengurusan PTMSI Sumsel sebelumnya. Kini dibawah kepemimpinan Gantada , diharapkan mampu bersinergi dengan visi dan target kemajuan olahraga daerah.
“Kalau untuk penyelenggaraan, Sumsel sudah punya pengalaman. Tapi sekarang saatnya tingkatkan prestasi dan mencetak atlet-atlet baru. Kerjasama yang solid antar pengurus menjadi penting untuk mengurus cabang olahraga tenis meja hingga selesai kepengurusan 2023 mendatang,”ujar Gubernur Sumsel melalui Assisten I, Dr Akhmad Najib.
Bagi Gantada, menjadi ketua umum pengprov Sumsel PTMSI tidak hanya jadi tantangan tersendiri. Kecintaan terhadap olahraga membuatnya memasang target yang terbaik, tidak hanya soal pembinaan, tetapi juga kepelatihan, dan tentunya prestasi Tenis Meja Sumsel kedepan.
“Dalam waktu dekat kita sudah siapkan delapan atlet, terdiri dari empat putra dan empat putri. Mereka ikut Pra PON Di Samarinda awal bulan depan. Kami targetkan hasil maksimal. Karena apa yang diharapkan oleh PB dan Gubernur tentu jadi motivasi kepengurusan ini untuk lebih baik, “jelas Gantada didampingi Sekum, Dr Arianto MPd usai pelantikan
