Bengkulu - (17/1/2020) Di hadiri oleh Ketua Umum PB PTMSI dan jajarannya, hadir juga ketua umum KONI provinsi Bengkulu beserta ketua-ketua cabor yg ada di bengkulu. 

Pada event Musprov yang dilaksanakan  Di Hotel Madelin di Kota Bengkulu ini Ketua umum KONI provinsi Bengkulu Bapak Mufron dalam sambutannya mengharapkan pelaksanaan musprov dapat berlangsung tertib dan baik, sekaligus mengapresiasi pengurus cabor tenis meja di Bengkulu yg selama ini solid dan harmonis. Dan harapan ketua umum Koni kepada tenis meja bengkulu dapat berprestasi di tingkat nasional maupun Internasional.

Disambung dengan Sambutan ketua umum PB PTMSI Peter Layardi Lay sekaligus membuka acara Musprov Bengkulu 2020. Untuk memilih dan menetapkan ketua umum pengprov PTMSI Bengkulu untuk masa bakti 2020 sd 2024. Sekaligus mengucapkan Terima kasih dan  penghargaan yang tinggi kepada PLT Ketua Umum Pengprov PTMSI Bengkulu yang telah melaksanakan amanat dan tugas yang di berikan untuk memilih ketua umum PTMSI provinsi bengkulu yg definitif.

Ketua umum berharap terpilihnya nanti dapat bekerjasama dengan baik bersama PB PTMSI dalam menjalankan program dan roda organisasi PTMSI yang kita cintai bersama.

Diakhir sambutanya Ketua Umum PB PTMSI berpesan agar musyawarah provinsi ini dapat di laksanakan sesuai anggaran dasar anggaran rumah tangga PTMSI supaya tidak menimbulkan persoalan kemudian hari.
Kepada pihak-pihak yang sudah mendukung terlaksananya musyawarah provinsi PTMSI Bengkulu ini, kami mengucapkan terima kasih, karena sudah membantu PB PTMSI dalam menata organisasi yg kami cintai.
Tadi ada beberapa pertanyaan kepada saya mengenai permasalahan organisasi kita, dapat saya jelaskan, terkait masih adanya stigma dualisme terhadap PTMSI itu sangat tidak benar. Karena PB PTMSI adalah satu-satunya anggota KONI Pusat. 
Dan permasalah polarisasi kepegurusan sudah diselesaikan oleh KONI pusat pada tahun 2018 sebagaimana kita ketahui dato sri tahir terpilih sebagai ketua umum dalam munas bersama yang diselenggarakan. Untuk itu kiranya sebagai anggota pengurus maupun insan tenis meja di bengkulu kami memgharapkan dapat mengabaikan pihak-pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab yang selalu menganggap ada masalah dalam kepegurusan tenis meja. Dengan kerja keras dan selalu menjalankan amanat anggara dasar anggaran rumah tangga PTMSI, kiranya program-program PTMSI dapat di jalankan baik oleh pengurus pusat maupun pengurus daerah secara konsisten. Sehingga pembinaan atlet dapat terus berkesinambungan.
